STAFF at Tavistock's Duke's Café will be donning their trainers and getting geared up to run the Race For Life next month.

The Duke's team, Cate Kemish, Amy Kiteley, Julie Turnock, Sarah Daymond, Vicki Piper, Sammy Kellaway, Hannah Kemish, Nicole Townsend-Ball, Nicolle Murray, Sian Penwarden, Ruth Rapsom, Charlotte Sloman, Alice Warnett and Chloe Greep, will be running the five-kilometre race in Plymouth along with hundreds of other runners to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

Amy Kiteley said: 'Cancer has affected everybody's life at some stage whether it be family or someone we know so the charity holds a special place in our hearts.

'Doing the race as a team has made it more special and we are looking forward to seeing how much we can raise.

'Our customers have always been very supportive when we have a charity day at Duke's and we are so grateful.'

Anyone who would like to show their support can sponsor the team by filling out a sponsorship form at the café.

The run will take place on June 19.

Amy said: 'We are very proud to be pulling together and doing this as a team. Thanks to everyone who has supported us in recent events.'
