A TAVISTOCK man recently enjoyed the opportunity to expand his artistic skills at a special event held in South Devon.
Hannah’s resident artist Gavin Blench ran the drop-in workshop in floor painting at Seale-Hayne. Working across two sites in Devon — Ivybridge and Seale-Hayne, Newton Abbot — Hannah’s provides learning, care and support to children and adults with a range of disabilities.
Marcus Dill, who lives in Tavistock, joined Hannah’s regular guests and visitors as they joined in with the workshop using giant drawing implements on a large piece of paper on the floor in the Experience Warehouse.
Gavin and his helpers explored techniques in mark-making, shapes tessellation and colour.
The result was a stunning piece of collaborative work celebrating the combination of unusual and effective drawing and painting techniques.
