OVER the past few weeks many people have contacted us worried about the Civil Contingencies Bill which is currently going through our Houses of Parliament.

Already it has been likened to Adolf Hitler?s Enabling Act 1933, which although elected by the people, gave him the power to bypass democracy.

Debate in the commons on part two of this bill was stifled and not debated. Had UKIP MPs been there I can assure you this would not have been allowed to happen.

Michael Howard as Leader of the Opposition should be pulling out all the stops to block this bill, but so far not a squeak out of him. It is time he showed some mettle and stood up to Tony Blair.

However, I am pleased to say other people are working hard to have this monstrous bill quashed. One gentleman in particular is Lord Pearson, but if he is to succeed he urgently needs your help. Please write to your Member of Parliament asking them to vote against this bill and I should send a copy of it to Lord Pearson at the House of Lords as well.

Please get everyone you know to write as this is a very important issue that can not be allowed to slip by us.
