I WAS absolutely disgusted with the happenings in London in the last few days with students protesting about having to pay more for a first class education. Do they want everything for nothing?

As for tearing down the ensigns on the Cenotaph and urinating on Sir Winston Churchill's statue, without his leadership that person might not even have been born.

As for attacking our future king and his lady wife I am speechless. Have thay no respect or pride? They do not deserve a place in university (yes I know rentamob had a lot to do with it). A hundred years ago they would have been executed for an act against the crown. How dare they?

How were these people brought up? Were they not taught respect? They want everything for nothing straight away.

I served 44 years in the Royal Navy to support people like these who create havoc and bring our country into disrepute. Are they not mindful that servicemen are giving their lives all over the world every day so that we can live a safe life?

Where are the people in charge of the universities and why are they allowing the students to carry out these atrocious acts?

I am not a radical, just a true blooded Englishman who is not afraid of putting my head above the parapet, and I know there are numerous others like me.
