I WAS disgusted to read in last week's Times that the Atomic Kitten concert was cancelled.

To let the people of Okehampton know two days before the date of the concert was a disgrace.

The reason given was poor ticket sales due to people waiting until the last minute to purchase their tickets. Well what do they expect? Due to previous experiences the people were justified to be cautious.

To now postpone the Atomic Kitten concert to February beggars disbelief. Do future ticket buyers wait until the last moment to purchase tickets, or take a chance on the concert going ahead?

Two concerts, two postponements — I think in future that I will not rush to buy tickets. The young people of Okehampton really looked forward to this concert, and now they have to wait.

Come on First Aid, if you are going to run these concerts, then get your act together. I personally rearranged my weekend for this concert to give my 11-year-old daughter a birthday treat. Some treat.
