THE smooth sounds of the Plough Boys Jazz Band will be back by popular demand on the lawn at Finch Foundry this weekend.

The Devon-based band will make a welcome return to the National Trust property at Sticklepath on Sunday, July 18. They will be playing between 12.30pm and 4pm.

The jazz on the lawn event is a great chance to appreciate the surroundings of the garden, while relaxing to some great music.

Roger Boney of Finch Foundry said the event had become a regular fixture in the community?s summer calendar.

?People can bring along a picnic and enjoy some great live music. The band tends to lean towards traditional jazz, but they can play other styles as well,? he said.
