Wartime letters inspire Okehampton writer's novelFor a decade, the third Sunday of every month, without exception, has seen a lively evening of traditional music in the Olde Plough.
These informal evenings are hosted by Squandered Youth, a female folk duo, who entertain with various instruments and vocal harmonies.
Over the years there has been a wide variety of talented performers. The open acoustic nights have also provided a platform for aspiring singers and musicians, many from the local area, and a culture of participatory music has been established.
All are welcome to celebrate the tenth anniversary – from 8pm at the Olde Plough, Bere Ferrers – and help to raise the rafters in song!
