MOOR Poets, the Devon-based poetry development network, is providing workshops at various Dartmoor venues over the coming months. Local tutor Chris Waters will be at Clearbrook Village Hall on July 30, Bill Greenwell at St Lawrence Chapel, Ashburton on September 23, Roselle Angwin at the Museum of Dartmoor Life in Okehampton on October 8, Caroline Wilson at Scoriton Village Hall on October 28 and Matt Harvey at Southway Farm, Widecombe on November 19th. Two respected poets from Perthshire will also be leading workshops: Kenneth Stevens at Buckland-in-the-Moor on August 29 and TIm Turnbull at Gidleigh on September 9. The workshops will be followed by a series of readings, starting at St Lawrence Chapel on December 3. The workshops are open to everyone over 16 years, whether experienced writers or newcomers. Donations of £5 to £20 are requested, self-assessed and according to income.
