FALCONRY displays and water colour painting will enhance a Dartmoor showcase day being held at the Two Bridges Hotel on Wednesday, May 24. The event is being organised by Dartmoor Tourist Association, and runs from 11am to 3pm. Although primarily for the benefit of members, Dartmoor businesses who are non-members are also invited to attend. There will be 20 various attractions and activities present, plus several food and drink providers offering samples and displaying their wares. Dartmoor National Park Authority, Trading Standards and Plymouth College of Further Education will be in attendance and presentations will include one by the Dartmoor Pony Heritage Trust and another by a Dartmoor Ranger. Falconry displays will be held throughout the day, together with demonstrations of water colour painting. There will also be a spit roast.
