FIFTEEN excellent prizes are on offer to day visitors to Dartmoor this autumn, part of a free prize draw being run in a promotional campaign.

The ?Moor to Stay For? campaign is being run by Dartmoor National Park Authority and the Dartmoor Tourist Association for the Dartmoor Partnership, with the aim of persuading day visitors to stay overnight and help support the local economy.

The organisations feel that with a huge area to walk and cycle through, many pubs, hotels and attractions to go to, visitors can make even more of their time by taking a short break in the area.

Moor to Stay For leaflets will be appearing at various outlets on the moor.

By filling in their name and address and posting the form, visitors can enter the draw for prizes like a short break for two, free entry to attractions, outdoor walking equipment or a river trip.

The prize draw takes place on November 14.

Dartmoor Partnership consists of local councils, chambers of trade, the Duchy of Cornwall and other interested organisations which aim to promote the area in a co-ordinated manner.
