MED Theatre, based in Moretonhampstead, is running a series of Open Dance Workshops for young people with dance artist and choreographer Rosalyn Maynard. Rosalyn, who has worked extensively with young people both in schools and leading out-of-school workshops, facilitated the young people?s dance for MED Theatre?s film Grave Intimations, broadcast on BBC 2 last November. These training workshops, based around the theme of the elements, will cater for all different levels of dance experience, and the only requirement is a willingness to learn. Dance workshops with Rosalyn Maynard are part of MED Theatre?s current programme of Workshops for Young People. All the workshops are free, thanks to financial support from the Local Network Fund.
