A FIRE crew from Princetown was called to Hessary Terrace in Princetown at 2.07am on Sunday, after reports of a fire at the rear of a property.

On arrival the crew found a fire involving a moped which was severely damaged by the flames and a disused washing machine which was also severely damaged by the fire.

They extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet.
