businesses who helped sponsor the attractive blooms of plants around Callington this spring have been thanked by the town mayor Denise Winfindale. Speaking at last week?s town council meeting she said members had received ?such good reports? from the public about the daffodils in the tubs. ?I?m sure that the next lot of plants that are about to go in for the summer will be very good,? she said. Cllr Winfindale added that the town was very grateful to have the sponsorship it had received as not many towns could afford to have floral features without such support.
