A MAN from East Cornwall will cycle 1,000 miles from Land?s End to John O?Groats next month in aid of a project in Ghana. Samuel Kirby, from Calstock, will cycle the lengthy trip raising money per mile for the Savannah Kids Education Project (SKEP) in Tamala. He is doing this so SKEP can purchase bikes to help local street children who live in outlying villages to attend the school and receive an education. Each bike costs approximately £60 and Samuel is aiming to raise £2,500 to cover all the costs. If anyone wishes to sponsor Samuel on his journey contact him on [email protected]">[email protected] or phone 01822 833615.
