NORTH Tawton-based Taw Valley Creamery started its summer county show season in style at the Devon County Show, winning seven awards for the quality of its cheese.

The top awards for the creamery include two first places in the 'Hard Pressed Cheese' and 'Any Cheese Manufactured and Produced in Devon' categories. The creamery received a further five awards, including second place in the 'Extra Mature Cheddar Cheese', 'Double Gloucester' and 'Danisco Round One' categories.
