CREAM teas will be helping to raise money, for Children?s Hospice South West, on Friday, September 23. The Inner Wheel Club and Tavistock Rotary Club have teamed up, for Children?s Hospice Week, to help raise money for the charity which supports more than 200 children. President of the Inner Wheel Club Anne Wrightham said: ?There are over 1,000 children in the South West who suffer from illnesses that mean they will die before adulthood. ?The charity receives no statutory funding and relies entirely on the generosity of people in the region. We are hoping that locals will support this event and enjoy a cup of tea with scones at the same time?. The cream teas, will be available between noon and 3pm at Tavistock Parish Church Centre, at a price of £2.50. Tickets can be bought in advance from Mayflower Galleries, 21 West Street, Tavistock.
