A NEW course aimed at providing a supportive and positive environment for people out of work will take place in the Oasis Centre, Gunnislake, this month. Calstock Development Trust has organised the free course for anyone who is currently unemployed and looking for help, support and guidance to gain employment. The Can Do! Course combines help with CVs, application forms and interviews, with individual guidance on local training and employment opportunities. Arranged excursions and guest speakers will provide different perspectives on skills development with the focus on raising confidence and introducing the different options available to people seeking work. The course starts next week on Thursday, September 21 and then each Thursday until October 19, from 9.30am to 3.30pm. Each session will have lunch provided. If anyone is interested in The Can Do!
