ON behalf of Tavistock Parkinsons Support Group I would like to say a big thank you and congratulations to Dr Darren Evans, on completing his 650 mile cycle ride, from his home in Switzerland, to Tavistock where he was born, to raise funds for research into Parkinsons.

A reception for Darren was held at The Anchorage on August 9. Up to 100 friends, relatives and well wishers were there to welcome Darren home. Thank you to Carol and Heather for the catering and all who helped to make the reception a success. £259 was raised through a raffle and donations to add to Darren’s final fund raising total.

Thank you again to Darren, his family, Kai, Doris, Matthew, Lisa, Val and Dave for their continued support of people with Parkinsons.
