FOLLOWING their hugely successful sets at the Calstock Festival the Bristol based band who have just debuted on Radio Bristol are making a welcome return. Ben Winter, the upright bass player, is well known to local audiences from his work with funk and hip hop bands and is now part of the Master Chaynjis band, along with Sam Halmarack, vocals and guitar and Sarah Garraway, vocals, violin and glockenspiel. Their songs have a deceptively light musical complexity and an underlying veiled darkness which makes for compelling listening. Their set will be 45 minutes long and the rest of the evening will be DJ sets from the band and a short poetry set from Otis Microlight.
