RESIDENTS in Bere Alston can hear all about the findings of a community dig in the village that took place over the summer, as University of Exeter archaeologist Dr Chris Smart visits on Monday, November 26.

Dr Smart will present the results and findings of the 'What's in Your Back Garden?' community archaeology weekend organised by the Tamar Valley AONB.

The talk starts at 7.30pm at the parish hall in Bere Alston and is part of the Bere Alston Local History Society's programme of lectures.

A £1 donation towards the society would be appreciated and refreshments will be available afterwards.
