TAVISTOCK Area Support Services is hosting an information morning in Mary Tavy next week about available services. The morning, at Coronation Hall from 10am to 1pm on August 12, will be an opportunity for people to find out more about services available for them in the area. It will involve organisations such as South West Water, Action on Hearing Loss, West Devon Connect, Fire service and Call 24 among others. Organiser Cathy Hipsey said: 'This is a wonderful opportunity for people to come and find out what services are available in the area and who is providing them. 'TASS has run a few of these events in village halls and we were pleased with how many people came to find out about activities and services that might be beneficial for them.' There will be tea and coffee served throughout the morning and a Ploughman's lunch from noon to 1pm.
