A COFFEE morning in aid of children in Moldavia and Romania is being held this Saturday from 10am to noon at the Rectory, South Tawton. The money raised will go to the charity Christian Response to Eastern Europe, which delivers donated clothing, medical supplies, toys and blankets to families in the most deprived areas of those countries, as well as providing vital assistance with building projects. The coffee morning will also provide an opportunity to pass on good wishes to the Rev Michael Thayer and his wife Rosaleen before their departure from the parish.
