SIX members of Tavistock Athletic Club successfully took part in the London Marathon on Sunday.
Steve Groombridge ran extremely well to finish in 413th place in a time of 2h51m38s.
John Outhwaite, Allan Herdman and Chris Eastaugh followed him home, all achieving good times. This was a remarkable performance from these four as they all qualify as veterans.
While Paula was busy breaking world records, two members of the club?s jogging section, Marie Larvin and Christine Gliddon, overcame the heat, fatigue and blisters to finish the course and raise substantial sums of money for local charities.
