MILLFIELD School?s 50m pool is the venue for Tavistock Swimming Club?s first gala of the year with a number of swimmers attending the Street and District 50m open meet later this month.
Tavistock are looking forward to a full calendar of events ahead with February being particularly busy for the swimmers with the Devon County Championships at Central Park.
Tavistock?s new squad system appears to be paying dividends with a number of swimmers achieving their Devon County qualifying times for the first time.
The squad will be training hard for the galas which have been arranged throughout the year, including two which Tavistock will host at Meadowlands, their home pool.
