PEOPLE passionate about climate change marching from Land’s End to London stopped off in Tavistock on Tuesday to spread their message.

Members of Extinction Rebellion took part in the Earth March: March for Life this week — a national initiative which sees people walking from all over the UK towards London culminating in a big action march in the capital in April.

Some members had walked from as far as Land’s End to Tavistock over a number of days and were continuing on to Princetown on their way to London, with people joining in for different parts of the march.

The march is to raise awareness of the climate change crisis and encourage the Government to act.

Black Sheep Brew provided soup and bread for the walkers at the Tavistock Quaker meeting house.
