NORTH Tawton's Taw Valley Creamery picked up a total of 20 awards at the Devon County Show, smashing last years' result of 15 accolades at the event.
In total, the Devon-based creamery picked up seven first place awards, including the Danisco Grand Prix, eight second place, four third place and one fourth place awards.
Brian Kerr, site director at the Taw Valley Creamery said: 'The Devon County Show is one of the biggest celebrations of Devon life and the perfect place to showcase the great work of our local cheesemakers.
'This three-day event really brings the community together and is a great way to generate awareness of the great products we produce here at the Taw Valley Creamery.
'To also be rewarded for our cheese at the show through these awards is a fantastic achievement and something of which we are very proud.'
The creamery picked up firsts in the categories for mature cheddar, mild cheddar, hard pressed cheese for their Red Leicester, cheese produced in Devon, special dairy produce and most points in the speciality cheese category.
