WE would like to thank all the people who supported our charity quiz evening on Sunday October 14 at NicHolls Hall, Lydford.
It was a very successful evening and we raised £328.86 for the National Star Centre College of further education for brain injured young people.
Our particular thanks go to the following companies for their donations to our supper and raffle: Somerfields, Safeways, F and M Lawrence. The Bedford Hotel, Howell Butchers, Bill the Baker, Dukes Coffee Shop, Tavistock Domestic Appliances, Dartmoor Photographic, Stokes and Steevensons Wine.
Thank you, also to the friends who made cakes for the cake stall donated raffle prizes and to Mr Alan Fisher for being an excellent quiz master.
