THE first novel by West Devon author Tina K Burton is about to hit the bookstores.

'Chapters of Life' revolves a reading group in a Cotswold town, where a diverse group of people, brought together by their love of reading, forge lasting friendships and make some unexpected discoveries about themselves and each other.

Tina said: 'I've been described as an English Maeve Binchy, as my book is about people, their lives and relationships. It has plenty of drama and emotion, and some wonderful heartwarming moments too.

'I'm now working on the sequel, plus a romantic comedy set around a dating agency, and a dark thriller. 

The book is published by Crooked Cat on August 30 and will be available at Book Stop, Tavistock.
