Now is the chance for some lucky youngster to win a chance to step up to the vacant throne as crowned Princess.
All young ladies who apply for the regal position must be between the ages of seven and 11.
The Lions Club has teamed up with McDonald?s and the final judging ceremony will take place at the restaurant in Plymouth Road on Wednesday, May 5 at 6pm.
The winner will be entitled to a prize which will be presented on selection evening.
There will be an official crowning on Sunday, July 11 at 3pm in the Meadows.
The Carnival Princess will then get the chance to lead the big carnival parade on Saturday, July 17.
