DRIFT Domino, a bull belonging to a family farm at South Tawton, knocked spots of the opposition this week at this year's Royal Bath and West of England Show.

The powerful and much loved British Blue bull, owned by Jeff and Lorraine Dunn of West Nymph Farm, came away with the supreme interbreed championship.

Weighing in at 400 kilos, Drift Domino is one of a herd of 40 British Blues.

Domino, aged four and a half, now has the title to add to that of last year's interbreed supreme champion which he won at the Royal Berkshire Show.

Lorraine, who was at the Royal Bath and West with husband Jeff and daughters Chloe and Freya, told the Times: 'It has been a great show for us and Domino has been a real star.

'He's just a great big, gentle giant who is the kindest animal I know. There is no malice in him whatsover, he just tries to please you. We love him to bits, he's a part of the family.'

There were more prizes for the Dunns and their cattle at the show.

They won champion junior bull with Galaxy; reserve champion female with Glisten; reserve champion beef pairs interbreed with Glisten and Galaxy; reserve champion group of three homebred among other winners.

It meant the Dunns had taken reserve champion in four of 10 in the major classes.
