Chagford 5
Exeter Civil Service 4
AN injury time winner from substitute Kieron Pyne gave Chagford a long overdue win, even after they had surrendered a two goal lead earlier in the match. Goals from David Jordan, Andrew Davis, Adam Pidgeon and Ollie Squire had set the scene for a comfortable win before Civil brought themselves right back into contention. Saul Scarry's tremendous save just before Pyne's winner was as big a factor in the win.

A depleted and hastily re-arranged Chagford side eventually cruised into the third round after Grant Vincent had given them the lead, mid-way through the first half.
Alex Gavillet and Jon Martin scored within three second half minutes of each other, to wrap up a good display but praise to James Rice who kept a clean sheet on his makeshift goalkeeping debut.

The scoreline in this meeting of old acquaintances and rivals in this first round match might have been much different if Argyle had not found Duncan Vincent in fine goalkeeping form.
Most of the first 15 minutes belonged to Okehampton but Vincent twice denied them in individual duels. As the half wore on Chagford were also unlucky not to score as a couple of good chances went agonisingly wide. The hosts took the lead on 35 minutes as Ralph's stunning free-kick flew past Adam Cann.
Five minutes into the second half, Gary Mortimore looked on in surprise as his headed effort bounced not once but twice onto to Cann's crossbar. Argyle made the most of their fortune and swept upfield for Tim Shaw to net the equaliser.
The game was getting stretched by now and Chagford retook the lead before Chris Ralph for Argyle hit a post, with the Oke goal gaping at him. Robbie Miller sewed things up for Chagford on the hour mark, after Gary Mortimore was tripped for a clear penalty. Argyle came back at their hosts and counted themselves unlucky not to be awarded their own penalty but the calm defensive heads of Wonnacott and Penberthy saw out the game out.
