A SPECIAL party to celebrate West Devon?s wealth of wildlife will be held at the Coronation Hall in Mary Tavy next week.
The party is being held by the Devon Wildlife Trust to celebrate the launch of wildlife week.
There will be a children?s nature trail, wildflower and bird walks, nature games and a wildlife quiz, as well as refreshments, a ploughman?s supper and an opportunity to buy Wildlife Trust goods.
After dark, there will be a search for bats in the village using a bat detector. Warm clothes and a torch are advisable for this.
The launch party will start at 6.30pm on Friday, May 30.
