A COFFEE morning held by Okehampton and District Funeral Service to raise funds for Hospiscare has raised £300 for the charity.
The coffee morning, which took place earlier this year, was held in Fairplace Church and received good support from the local community. Funeral director David Albery and his team wanted to highlight the important and vital work of Hospiscare to the community and the valuable support it gives.
David said: ‘Many of the families we look after have had the support of the hospice, as a local charity they cover a wide area and as a small, independent business, we feel it is important to support local charities.’
David expressed thanks to all those who helped on the day to make it a great success.
