THE Whitchurch Commoners would like to express their gratitude to the general public for the responsible and caring attitude they displayed during the recent foot and mouth crisis.
The majority of the commons dealt with by the management association are situated within Dartmoor National Park, and as such were subject to very tight restrictions during the outbreak. It is in no small way due to the forbearance and observance by the public of the rules imposed that the Whitchurch Commons remained free of the disease.
