A 'WIN the car' competition is being brought to Drewsteignton Fair on Saturday, June 7 by the Exeter Leukaemia Fund. ELF's 'Guess the Number of Balls in the Car and Win it' competition is one of the many events organised to celebrate 20 years of the charity. It is hoped that the year of celebrations will raise a large sum, which will be used to enhance patient care, refurbish the gardens at the centre and fund new research building on the diagnostic tests already delivered. Mark Whittle, fundraising officer for ELF, said everyone at the fair will have the chance to guess the number of balls in the car. He said: 'The winner will be the person who guesses the exact number of balls in the car or the person whose guess is the closest.' The winner will be announced at ELF's 21st birthday party at Sandy Park on October 17.
