MY dad and I have been doing our family tree for a

few years now. We have established that my

grandfather, great grandfather and their families came

from the Okehampton area. I was wondering if any of

your readers would be able to help our research

further.

The family we are researching is the Jordan family.

Tom Jordan owned the printers in the town (which is

now in the Museum yard) during the 1940s/1950s.

My great grandfather's name was Albany Jordan and

he came from a large family. He went on to have a

large family of his own.
