FALCONS once again showed why they are top of the Okehampton Netball League by beating Hot Shots 60-27. Players of the match: Sam Grey (Falcons) Becky Woollacott (Hot Shots). Hi-Line also had another convincing win against Speedwells, to take the match 52-29. Poms: Clare Toms (HL) Anne Donnelly (S). In division two there was a closer match between Groovy Chicks and Ladybirds, but Groovy Chicks held on until the end to win 15-10. Poms: Sue Stanbury (GC) Alison Horn (L). Dodgers also had a close match against Sprites, but unfortunately for Sprites luck wasn't on their side and Dodgers edged them out by 37-30. Poms: Wendy Holland (D) Jo Drake (S). FBI also kept up their winning streak against Jesters, with the final score 57-24 to FBI. Poms: Sally Hutchings (FBI) Zoë Grout (J). In division three there was a close game between Falcons Juniors and Maltesers. Falcon Jrs were in excellent form on the night and won the game 28- 22. Poms: Hayley Curtis (FJ) Amy Gowman (M). On April 1 there was another win for Hi-Line, although it was quite a bit closer than the week before. Hi-Line's quick play was enough to keep them in front of Hot Shots to win 48-35. Poms: Clare Toms (HL) Kerry Drew (HS). Sprites won their match against Jesters, to keep them in the top half of the table. Sprites won 43- 18. Poms: Bryony Cox (S) Karen Vallance (J). In division three though, Maltesers had a tough match against Lifton Ladies. Maltesers managed to hold on to the game to win 23-19. Poms: Sonia Cleave (M) Lisa Baker (LL).
