A MAGNIFICENT total of £100 worth of recyclable aluminium cans has been collected by Les Sutton in Princetown.

Mr Sutton collected the cans from the Plume of Feathers pub and grounds and also from the Prison Officers' Club — proceeds from the tins go to the Dartmoor Rescue Group.

'We use the bottle bank in the village all the time, Les picks up jumpers, tent bags etc for the goat lady in Tavistock Market and he collects the tins for the rescue group,' said landlord James Langton.
