AN EXCELLENT weekend of hockey was organised to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Tavistock Hockey Club.
With the touring side from Berlin joining in the celebrations, there was a game on Saturday against the men's second XI.
A very good game in high temperatures went ahead with the home side coming out the eventual winners.
On the Sunday, Tavistock hosted it is own club seven's tournament. This again was played in very hot temperatures with Shane Lovett's side taking the highly sought after trophy with an unbeaten run throughout the day.
This was a successful weekend of hockey for the club and the great weather contributed to a fantastic celebration.
