Artists invite public to their studios

Art lovers are being invited by a group of artists to see them at work in their studios until Sunday, September 6 as part of Drawn to the Valley’s Open Studios and Art Trail.

A total of 31 artists are opening up their studios, very often at their homes, to show how they work, during the ten-day event across East Cornwall and West Devon and the Tamar Valley.

Ali Fife Cook, who works in pastels creating realistic wildlife works, said: “Visitors will find painting and drawing techniques, printing methods, ceramics, papier mache, textiles and silver working. They can see artists at work and talk to them about what inspires them.”
