IT'S business as usual at the Okehampton Times despite the closure of the Times office in East Street, Okehampton, tomorrow (Friday). Okehampton reporter Tom French and photographer James Bird will continue to cover local events and stories bringing readers all the latest news from Okehampton and the surrounding towns and villages. Tom will be contactable on the same phone number as he is now — 01837 53640 — and the same email address [email protected]">[email protected] but he will be based temporarily at the Tavistock Times office whilst a permanent base for him can be arranged in Okehampton. The Times would like to make it clear that coverage of the area will not deteroriate because of the office closing and it is endeavouring to improve the coverage it gives to the area in the future.
