TWO West Devon businesses did their bit at Chagford Show in August, raising a combined £221 for Devon Air Ambulance Trust.

Character Builders, based at Whiddon Down, and Emanuel Hendry in Drewsteignton combined forces and ran a stand at the show, demonstrating traditional building methods such as working with lime plastering, timber framing and handmade leadwork.

Alongside their demonstrations the team offered free cream teas to visitors to the show, in return for donations to the DAAT.

Everyone at Character Builders and Emanuel Hendry expressed thanks to all those who supported their fundraising effort.
