THE Tuesday afternoon Bridge Club held a charity afternoon at the Alexander Centre recently, enabling it to present the Tavistock Cancer Support Centre with £350.

The Triangle fundraising co-ordinator Lesley Gibson thanked the group and gave a short talk on what the clinic provides for cancer patients.

The money will help with the cost of running the service, which operates at Tavistock Clinic all day on Fridays throughout the year, where patients can just drop in and get support and therapy from trained staff and volunteers.
