A FIELD of 17 riders turned out for the annual Tavistock Wheelers Cycling Club Hill Climb on a bright and breezy Sunday morning in November.

The event was won for the first time by a rider using a fixed gear.

Tim Bridgeman (Okehampton Cycling Club) was third, eight seconds behind Josh, while Mike Deacon (Tavistock Wheelers) was a further 14 seconds behind in fourth overall.
