After 18 months of providing support for new mums via Zoom, the La Leche League Okehampton breastfeeding group is restarting in-person meetings.

Barbara Childs, who runs the group, said: ‘Since having to stop the monthly meetings in March 2020 the group has met every week on Zoom with mothers from around Britain and even abroad.

‘We are now starting the monthly group again at the Ockment Centre each second Wednesday of the month. It will be open to all women interested in breastfeeding. The groups include discussions led by a breastfeeding counsellor and a chance to ask questions, borrow books and meet other mothers.’
