Exeter scored a second try only for Lee to reply for North/Okes. With five minutes left Exeter scored again to make a tense finish.

North/Okes made the game safe in the final minute when the ball was recycled, and good handling allowed William Lethbridge to outpace the covering defenders. Mike Heard added the conversion as the ref blew for time.

North/Okes U9s 25

NORTH/Okes are playing well with good work by the forwards. Dean Folland, James Baulch and Sam Cooper allowed Edmund Howard and Dominic Wooldridge to move the ball around in the backs giving the space around the side for Ryan Turner, William Cooper and George Speak to run at the opposition, allowing Ryan Turner to score a couple of tries in the first half.

Henry Cooper, playing for Exeter, managed to get one back for them. Good mauling by both teams led to an evenly matched and enjoyable game.

In the second half Exeter scored a couple of tries as the home team were caught napping, but Sam Cooper and Ryan Turner managed to reply to make the score 25-15.
