ON Saturday June 28, approximately 150 motorbikes passed through Tavistock as part of a charity ride out organised by Plymouth Motorcycle Club.
On behalf of the Chestnut Appeal I would like to thank everyone who participated, all those businesses and local people who made donations of food and raffle prizes and all those who helped with the event.
The social evening and barbecue at Lamerton was also well attended and a total of £556 was raised for the BBC Radio Devon Chestnut Appeal.
The appeal is hoping to raise £1-million to build a ?state-of-the-art? Prostate Cancer Care Unit at Derriford Hospital, Plymouth.
