STRAIGHT from the kick-off Okehampton were up for the hard challenge ahead. They dominated the first half with some terrific football playing at a high tempo and creating plenty of chances.
Okehampton went into half-time 1-0 up when a good passing move ended with Ben Bickle crossing for Ross Voaden to put into the back of the net.
The second half saw St Martin's pile on the pressure but the defensive line up of Ben Jarvis, player of the match Lewis Taylor, Rhys Palmer, Jamie Mallet and Jack Davey were excellent and limited St Martin's to few chances, which were well dealt with by Aaron Dearing in goal.
The midfield of Ollie Crimmins, Ben Bickle, Ben Barkwill and Tallan Burns worked extremely hard and set up many chances for the superb strikers Ross and Ryan who had some great interchange play.
The second goal came when Ryan Gross closed down a clearance and the ball bounced between the goalkeeper and Ross but Ross managed to get a head to it to take it past the keeper and knock into the goal.
This was a fantastic team performance with every player giving 100%commitment and effort which resulted in the best performance of the season.
