STAFF at Okehampton Post Office, moved by the plight of those affected by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, set out on a sponsored walk along the Granite Way last Sunday, to raise money for ShelterBox.

They were sponsored by just about everybody who came into the Post Office and the total raised was a magnificent £1,790.

They would like to say a very big 'thank you' to all the people of Okehampton who contributed to this wonderful amount.

A ShelterBox  costs £590 so the money donated will allow for three boxes.
