A?BARN dance held in Tavistock Town Hall and a quiz, held back in?May, have raised a combined £861.90 for Margaret?Greet?Animal Rescue.

Westmoor Vets staff Laura Ball, Jo Godfrey and Peter Morris-Lusby presented the giant cheque to Alan and Nicky Ging from the Brentor base of the national animal charity.

The organisation is celebrating its 50th anniversary.
